Unlocking maps in MapSource with JetMouse
First :read the note at the bottom of the post
1.
Download and run KG
Garmin_kgen_1.5+Fix.rar (450 KB)
Download [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
2. Enter Unit ID (Device ID)
or any random 10 digit number (to unlock only in MapSource)
3. Select Map Product
If product not listed, select last option <custom mapset>
4. Enter FID (Map ID)
If additional fields needed click on 'Enable additional fields', fill up as needed
and click 'OK' button
5. Click on 'Generate'
And you have unlock code
6. Select unlock code with mouse
and copy it (Ctrl + C)
7. Open MapSource program, and when get this message
select 'Skip'
8. Now in MapSource progream select: 'Utilities' -> 'Manage Map Products...'
9. Open second tab 'Unlock Regions'
10. Click on 'Add' button
11. Paste unlock code in upper field (Ctrl + V)
Enter whatever you want (or nothing) in second field, click 'OK' and you will see your map product in list.
You can close 'Map Product Manager' window, or you can continue with other products by pressing 'Add' button.
